Elysium SS25
Grade: A | Year 1 | Module: Product Management
This project was part of my Product Management module in Year 1. The brief required us to develop a sustainable product range for a global multichannel fashion brand for SS 25.
The challenge was to build a budgeted range plan that ensures that the design, sourcing, and pricing decisions align with the brand’s market level and profit expectations.
I chose Tommy Hilfiger and developed Elysium, a premium menswear collection for SS25. Elysium reflects a shift in luxury from display to depth - from showing to feeling. Inspired by Charles Baudelaire’s idea that “perfection in dress consists in absolute simplicity”, the collection embodies #QuietLuxury, #ElevatedEssentials, and #RestorativeRealms.
Designed for a March–April 25 launch, the collection captures the season’s transition - light layers, breathable fabrics, and colours that move effortlessly from early spring to high summer. It features a calm colour palette that blends tinted darks with soft pastels. The collection uses sustainable and regenerative materials such as Supima cotton, linen, bamboo, BioPuff® and Cycora®.
Each piece is crafted for longevity and ease - preppy silhouettes refined through natural textures and minimalist detailing.
What went into it:
Conducted an in-depth market analysis of the global menswear sector, identifying key consumer shifts.
Applied frameworks such as SWOT and Brand Positioning Maps to evaluate Tommy Hilfiger’s position within this landscape, supported by data insights from EDITED.
Researched SS25 trends in colour, fabric, print, and silhouette using industry databases, and developed a trend translation mood board that defined the collection rationale.
Built a 26-SKU balanced range in Adobe Illustrator using CADs from WGSN, ensuring variety across product categories.
Developed a comprehensive product range and merchandising plan that connected creativity and commerce.
Worked on a feasible pricing and sourcing strategy ensuring I met the budget constraints and the sales targets.
Created a visual Look Book, showcasing nine curated looks that reflect lifestyle moods like Urban Exploration, Poolside Peace, and Windy Walks.
