Inside the Classroom

London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London
Year 4, MSc Strategic Fashion Management
Sep 2023 - Present

LCF gave me what I came for. The MSc in Strategic Fashion Management is an integrated master’s that covers the full range of how fashion operates as a business. Supply chain, operations, brand strategy, consumer behaviour, finance, e-commerce - every module capturing a different angle of the same industry and giving me a way of understanding how the parts fit inside the whole.

The work that came out of it: reimagining ZEGNA’s supply chain, developing and testing a gamification concept for luxury retail, developing a rejuvenation strategy for a struggling heritage brand, creating a new range for Nike and pitching it to Nike management, and building bespoke measuring tools for a textile recycling startup that are still in use.

My Masters Final Project is me trying to understand why luxury brands are losing their edge. Brands kept hiking prices, converged on the same logos and aesthetics, and 50 million consumers just walked away. I’m using game theory to model the luxury brand-consumer relationship, asking whether certain signals still have the differentiating power and what that means for high-end brands.

Throughout my time at LCF, I realised that I like ideas to grow on me. I don’t commit to something just for the sake of it; it has to feel right first. I start that process early and use every bit of the time available. Across the projects, I deliberately chose different contexts with the goal of achieving breadth across the industry and depth within each problem.

London School of Economics
Summer School 2026
June 2026 - August 2026
Grades: A+ in both

In the summer of 2026, I chose to spend time on two things I enjoy: finance and game theory. I was accepted into LSE Summer School for Finance (FM250) and Mastering Strategy with Game Theory (ME206).

Finance covered two blocks: asset pricing and corporate finance. Asset pricing particularly grabbed me. The logic of derivatives and options, how you price not just an asset but also the right to act on it under uncertainty, is a different kind of thinking. And corporate finance changed how I read business decisions. Every brand expansion, every acquisition, every pivot has a balance sheet behind it. Once you understand how it’s financed, the strategy starts to make sense.

Game theory is something I’ve been fascinated by. The idea that you can model strategic behaviour mathematically, where the rational move isn’t determined by what you want, but by what everyone else is likely to do, is one of those frameworks that, once you have it, you start seeing everywhere. The applications ranged across economics, politics, and firm strategy. I enjoyed it enough that my Masters project is based on an application of signalling theory in the luxury fashion context.

Beyond the MSc

Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (Online)
BS in Data Science and Applications - Foundation Level
January 2023 – September 2023
CGPA: 9.88 / 10

I spent my gap year after school completing the foundation level of IIT Madras's BS in Data Science and Applications. There were eight courses across two semesters, 32 credits in total, all formally assessed with in-person examinations. The programme built from the ground up: mathematical foundations through calculus and linear algebra, statistical reasoning from descriptive statistics through to probability, Bayesian estimation, hypothesis testing and regression, computational thinking that taught me how to decompose a problem and design an algorithm before touching code, and Python programming with the data science stack: pandas, NumPy, matplotlib, scipy.

What I came away with wasn't a collection of isolated technical skills. It was a way of approaching a problem: represent it formally, choose the right model or method, work through it quantitatively, implement it, and analyse the output. That pipeline has shaped how I think across everything I've done since.
